The Hybrid CPL Course is a structured commercial pilot training pathway that combines classroom preparation and flying in one plan. You first complete 6 months (750 instructional hours) of DGCA CPL ground training at Vajra Aviation in Bangalore, taught by Ex-Indian Air Force officers. You then move to Flyola Aviation Academy for approximately 12 months of flying training, with around 200 planned flight hours.
Building the academic foundation first means you start flying with the theory already in place. Each phase has a clear training focus and a dedicated training partner: Vajra Aviation for ground instruction and Flyola Aviation Academy for flight training.
From aviation theory to the flight deck.
An indicative training plan, subject to individual performance and operational conditions.
Focused instruction, practical progression. The hybrid course gives you a dedicated ground-training phase with Ex-IAF faculty in Bangalore, clear duration and instructional-hour targets for each stage, and a planned move into flying training with a specialist flight training organisation.
A hybrid CPL course combines two phases in one planned pathway: classroom ground training for the DGCA CPL theory exams at Vajra Aviation in Bangalore, followed by practical flying training at Flyola Aviation Academy. You prepare for the written exams first, then build your flying hours.
The pathway includes 6 months of ground training and approximately 12 months of flying training, or about 18 months in total. Actual completion may vary with individual progress, weather and aircraft availability.
The Vajra Aviation ground-training phase includes 750 instructional hours over 6 months, covering all 7 DGCA CPL subjects.
Flying training is planned at Flyola Aviation Academy. Please confirm the current operating base and available training slots with our admissions team before enrolment.
